Tablet kiosks at Falmouth Art Gallery

Falmouth Art Gallery wanted to provide a facility so that visitors could browse the collections section of their website and on another device display an information video. Both tablets have been configured as kiosks meaning that only the allowed actions are possible; one tablet shows the website and the other plays the video.
(Photo shows a work in progress before the tablets were put in their final location and fixed.)

Coding in Cornwall gathering photos

Coding in Cornwall is a personal project from an unbiased stance and contains images from social gatherings and important events related to the tech industry in Cornwall. The website is written in Joomla! but uses a refined JavaScript gallery to display the photographs nicely on pretty much everything. The toolchain for processing photographs includes gphoto2, darkroom, imagemagick, GIMP and various custom scripts (BASH and Python). Vast majority of photographs shot in manual (not always focus, check EXIF) on raw on a Canon 30D with a fixed 50mm lens.

Elements of Pattern joint project with Robert Jones

Elements of Pattern is a joint project with local artist and author Robert Jones. The app lets you explore pattern using a predefined set of geometrically interconnecting shapes which you are able to move as tiles. The app has featured as an interactive display at Falmouth Art Gallery and is currently available for iOS and Mac (other versions are in the pipeline). Features of the project include a completely bespoke app (written using a 2D sprite-based game engine), an online gallery linked to the app, bespoke oAuth compatible APIs, custom tooling and deployment and much more.
